What do we want?
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to support the smooth running of our laundry operations. This role is essential in ensuring our linen is cleaned, maintained and replenished to a high standard. You will work independently while being part of the wider housekeeping team, following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, tidy working environment. Flexibility is key, as the role requires working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This is a 32-hour per week position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Loading and unloading washing machines and tumble dryers
Checking, folding and organising freshly laundered items
Performing minor sewing and repair duties when required
Replacing and replenishing laundry supplies
Ordering linen and ensuring stock levels are accurate
Maintaining a clean and tidy laundry workspace
Reporting maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager
Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Working evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
Qualifications:
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience (desirable, not essential)
Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Willingness to work flexible hours

Benefits:
£12.60 per hour plus a share of hotel tips
Permanent contract, 32 hours per week
28 days holiday per year (29 after 1 year)
