As Reservations Specialist, you will be the first port of call for our guests, and responsible for understanding their needs, showcasing the hotels, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure they book their experience with us.
Key responsibility of this role include:
- Confidently speaking with customers on the phone and making sure all phone calls are answered quickly and efficiently
- Selling and upselling the hotels products and services to ensure we create a memorable stay for our guests
- Working to sales targets to support the delivery of the hotels budgeted revenue
- Carrying out an administrative task to ensure all booking details are accurate and communicated to the guest
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional service at all times
- Effectively communicating with other hotel departments
We are looking for a Reservationist who:
- Loves customer service and sales
- Has a positive, warm, friendly and the ability to build genuine relationships
- Demonstrates good organisational skills
- Has excellent spoken and written English skills
- Is motivated to succeed, hit targets, and encourages and celebrates fellow team member’s success
- Has great listening skills and communication skills
- Is a quick thinker, with the ability to use initiative and has good problem-solving skills
- Is computer literate – full on hotel systems will be provided
