What do we want?
We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our kitchen team for the 2026 season. You will be a key part of our kitchen brigade, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food across our two restaurants and bakery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for a chef who takes pride in consistency, creativity, and teamwork, and who is excited to contribute to an exceptional guest dining experience.
This is a seasonal role from 31/03/2026 to 31/10/2026, working 45 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Produce high-quality dishes to a consistent and high standard
Work across different sections of the kitchen as needed - from Sauce, Ogo (adult only dining), Plant Fish and Grill (fast paced family dining), Breakfast and Pastry
Support the development and testing of new recipes and seasonal menu items
Ensure daily mise en place is completed efficiently and to the required standard
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene compliance
Train and support Commis Chefs and apprentices in the Pastry section
Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management
Support wider kitchen service and other sections when required
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar Chef de Partie or Pastry role
Relevant culinary or pastry qualifications preferred
Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment desirable
Strong understanding of classic pastry and dessert techniques
Key Skills:
Strong pastry and dessert skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisation and time management
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
